My decor and fun colors never meshed with the rustic, earth tones of our fireplace so I went on pinterest looking to paint it white and got some ideas for white-washing instead! Loving the new look and fits so much better in our home. It really didn't take more than about 5 hours total and that includes having dear hubby remove fireplace surround and spray painting it silver and painting the dark brown mantle white.
I will never have it look this straight again but we enjoyed it while it looked like this!
Ryan had his first day of preschool - it was a success! A little hesitant but no tears and he told me more about his first day than my other two ever did!
Morgan started playing for the Centerville Hustle basketball this winter. They really have a lot of action, however, the girls aren't super accurate with scoring baskets so it is always a very low scoring game. It has been a lot of fun to watch!
okay, these things are super cool until you use them for a bit - we got a small hole under the seat in one so we returned it for another and Santa got them a second one and BOTH of the new ones have holes in the same spot - bad reviews from me on their wear and tear factor! Here they are before they bit the dust!
