My best friend from college, Mary, had her 1st baby about 2 1/2 months before we had Ryan and she just turned one - can't believe that! That means our baby boy is close to 1 - time flies....I never believed that when my mom would tell me that when I was young but sometimes moms are right. She is so precious and sweet and we love our little Lilybug!

Brownies

I helped out at the last Brownie meeting. It is so nice because the leader lives about 5 houses down the street so we just walk there - even when it's freezing! They are such a cute group of young girls and they all enjoy being around each other but they sure can be rowdy for girls! They get all hyped up and need to refocus often but did I mention they have fun?! I guess that's what it is all about.

A Beautiful Day!

We finally got a mild day to go out and burn off some energy! You know those days that just surprise you in late winter and tease you for more to come! Morgan used her new rollerblades from Santa, her pogo stick, and her jump rope. Bradley tried out a few of his bikes but still prefers to Fred Flinstone it rather than pedal. Ryan just enjoyed watching them and I think he's trying to learn a few techniques for when he is ready! Can't wait for more days like these!

Well, here is our big boy, he crawls, he pulls up to things, he just tried a sippy cup and he eats cheerios and he discovered himself(not sure if he knows it is himself) in the mirror in the past few days - here are some good memories! Not even 9 months yet
PS the other 2 didn't even crawl until they were 10 months old

Baby Shower Weekend

Kirk's stepsister, Jenny, is having a baby the end of March so we threw her a shower in Ft Mitchell, KY, ya'll! It was a really great shower, with lots of guests(me being in charge of games) and we had Kirk's stepbrother and family in town with us for the weekend so we got to spend some quality time with our 4 month old twin nieces, Avery and Reese - they are soooo sweet and tiny! We loved having some one on one with them to ourselves - how selfish, huh?

Tara's Birthday

We were spontaneous for once and took up a last minute invite to go to a nice restaurant, Champs, with my friend and her family and friends for her birthday. Definitely harder to be spontaneous when you have 3 kids but nice to be able to go for it once-in-a-while. We had fun, however, Bradley had to have a time-out in the car, escorted by daddy b/c he had a major meltdown over who knows what? That kid!
